Nina Eim, born August 1, 1998, in Itzehoe, Germany, has developed into one of the most consistent and tactical performers on the international stage. She began her journey in the sport at the age of eight and quickly demonstrated her talent, winning the Junior European Cup in Tulcea, Romania, by the time she was 17.

Her early career featured steady progression and key breakthroughs. In 2018, she claimed a bronze medal at the World University Championships in Sweden, signaling her readiness for elite-level racing. The following year, she contributed to Germany’s success with silver medals in the mixed relay at both the European Championships in Weert and the World Championships in Hamburg.

Eim’s upward trajectory continued into 2022, when she won the European Super Sprint title in Olsztyn. Later that season, she placed fourth in the individual race at the European Championships in Munich and helped secure another silver medal for Germany in the mixed relay. Her growing experience and sharp race awareness were on full display throughout the season.

In 2023, she secured a commanding win at the Rome World Cup, closing with one of the fastest sprint finishes of her career. The performance marked her as a serious contender heading into an Olympic year. Eim qualified for the Paris 2024 Games with a strong sixth-place finish at the test event, and despite injury setbacks, she delivered a commendable 12th-place result in the Olympic final.

Widely recognized for her powerful run leg and intelligent racing style, Eim continues to establish herself among the world’s best. Her blend of experience, discipline, and late-race speed makes her a key athlete to watch in both individual and team formats.
