Csongor Lehmann, born April 2, 1999, in Tiszaújváros, Hungary, has emerged as one of the most consistent and exciting competitors on the international circuit. Coming from a family deeply involved in the sport - his father Tibor, a former national champion and now his coach, and older brother Bence also competing at an elite level - Csongor was immersed in high-performance training from an early age.

He made his mark early, capturing the 2018 World Junior Championship title. The momentum continued in 2019 with a silver at the U23 World Championships, before claiming the U23 world title in Edmonton in 2021. His smooth progression through the age groups showcased his technical finesse, mental composure, and race-day precision.

In 2022, he stepped up to the senior ranks with authority, taking his first World Triathlon Cup win in Karlovy Vary. A year later, he delivered a memorable performance on home soil, winning the Tiszaújváros World Cup in front of a home crowd.

The 2024 season saw Lehmann break further ground. He earned bronze at the WTCS race in Cagliari and placed 11th in his Olympic debut in Paris. He went on to win the European Championship in Vichy and capped off the year with sixth place at the WTCS Grand Final in Torremolinos, finishing fifth in the overall series standings.

In 2025, he expanded his repertoire with a silver medal at the middle-distance Challenge Sir Bani Yas in Abu Dhabi, proving his range and adaptability.

Combining tactical intelligence with a calm, unshakable race temperament, Lehmann continues to evolve as one of Hungary’s most prominent athletes, with a reputation for rising to the occasion when it matters most.
