Beaugrand and Hueber-Moosbrugger win in London!
Two French Champions were crowned on an electrifying night of racing at the London Aquatics Centre

The best sprint finish in E history?
French racer Maxime Hueber-Moosbrugger won his debut Supertri E World Triathlon Championship powered by MyWhoosh after a thrilling sprint finish with the USA’s Chase McQueen.
McQueen had led from the start of the nine-discipline, triple triathlon format at London’s Aquatic Centre and looked set to defend his Supertri E World title until 500m to go when Hueber-Moosbrugger turned on the afterburners to eat into McQueen’s 14-second advantage.
The American’s lead went down to eight seconds, then six and four, before the two were side-by-side on the virtual run course. The 28-year-old Hueber-Moosbrugger, who finished third here in 2024, made his final move with metres to go to crown a remarkable race and his first-ever Supertri victory.

Beaugrand returns to the top step
France’s Cassandre Beaugrand dominated the 2025 Supertri E World Triathlon Championship, leading from the starting pistol until the finale of the gruelling nine-discipline triathlon under the lights of London’s Aquatics Centre.
Unlike in the men’s event – a comeback classic won by Maxime Hueber-Moosbrugger – the 27-year-old Beaugrand never looked likely to give up her lead over Britain’s Beth Potter, steadily increasing her advantage to over thirty seconds by the end of the triple triathlon. Julia Broecker of Germany was third a distant 1:23mins behind.
“It was very brutal out there; I forgot just how hard this racing is,” said Beaugrand at the finale. It is very challenging racing Beth but it’s nice having a big battle like that. If I blew up then I blew up, but I just really happy with the result today.”
