Crown Racing Reveal All-Star Cast For supertri League 2024
Crown Racing has revealed a cast of Bahrain Victorious superstars for their supertri League roster in 2024.
Chris McCormack will become Crown Racing’s manager, and his stacked team are aiming for nothing less than the title this year.
Crown Racing is a new team in supertri League, with Bahrain Victorious 13 extending its commitment by becoming its inaugural principal partner having been a sponsor for the last three years.
Bahrain Victorious have brought in their stars of short course racing to try and bag the title they won back in 2022 for Crown Racing. Paris Olympic gold medallist Cassandre Beaugrand leads their women’s team alongside Georgia Taylor-Brown, a three time Olympic medallist and two-time supertri champion.
Crown Racing are also drawing on Bahrain’s newest signing, the 2023 supertri champion Kate Waugh to add even more firepower.
The men are headlined by Paris Olympic silver medallist Hayden Wilde, a former supertri champion. Two-time supertri winner Vincent Luis is back with a point to prove after being overlooked for the France team for a home Olympics, while Max Stapley also joins.
A further male and female athlete will be confirmed shortly.
The question for McCormack is whether he can keep all these athletes happy, and whether their strength turns out to be their weakness as they take points off of each other.
Crown Racing manager McCormack, himself a four-time World Champion, said: “Crown Racing has a very simple mission: to win. Having Bahrain Victorious 13 as the team’s principal partner means we can draw upon the very best talent in short course triathlon and put together a stellar line-up which has the potential to blow the rest of the field out of the water. I am very confident in this team and that we can restore Crown Racing and Bahrain Victorious to the top of the podium.”
