RBC and Supertri join forces to bring back RBC Race for the Kids at Supertri League Jersey

19TH JUNE 2025 - RBC is thrilled to announce the return of RBC Race for the Kids Jersey (RFTKJ) on Sunday 21st September 2025, in proud partnership with Supertri, the global leader in short-course triathlon, and this year’s official charity partner, the Jersey Child Care Trust (JCCT).
Now part of a powerful double-bill weekend, RBC Race for the Kids Jersey will take place alongside the much-anticipated return of Supertri Jersey, bringing elite triathlon racing back to the island for the first time in four years.
As Community Partner for the professional Supertri League race, RBC is helping to deliver a weekend of sport, community, and impact - uniting islanders around a shared mission to live healthier lives and support the next generation.
Held at Waterfront Gardens, Race for the Kids Jersey is an inclusive and family-friendly event where participants of all ages and abilities can walk, jog, wheel, or scoot their way through 2.5k, 5k, or the brand-new 10k route. Funds raised will support JCCT’s vital work to give every child in Jersey the best possible start in life.
“We are delighted to bring back RBC Race for the Kids to Jersey. It is such a wonderful opportunity to bring the community together and raise game-changing funds for an incredible charity – and the bonus is we get to do that by taking part in a hugely enjoyable event and embracing the glorious Jersey backdrop!" said David Bailey, COO, RBC Wealth Management. "The passion of everyone on the island to embrace a healthier lifestyle is inspiring, and we are so excited to partner with JCCT, not only to highlight the valuable work they currently do, but also to supercharge the impact they can have for all children.”
RBC Race for the Kids Jersey is part of a global RBC initiative, with 29 family fun runs worldwide, over 470,000 participants and more than C$100 million raised for youth charities since its inception in 2009. Jersey’s 2025 edition promises to be one of the most impactful yet.
Supertri’s return to Jersey will showcase the best short-course triathletes on the planet, racing in a made-for-broadcast format that delivers fast, technical and exciting action. The event will be delivered in collaboration with the Government of Jersey, supporting long-term goals around active living and international visibility.
“We are incredibly proud to partner with RBC to bring Race for the Kids to life as part of the Supertri Jersey weekend,” said Michael D’hulst, Supertri Co-Founder and CEO. “This partnership is a perfect match of world-class sport and community purpose. Together, we’re showcasing Jersey on the global stage and creating an inclusive celebration of health, impact, and fun for everyone.”
The Jersey Child Care Trust (JCCT) is a charity focused on inclusion, tackling poverty, and improving opportunities for all children. JCCT delivers life-changing programmes that ensure access to care, learning, and support. From helping children with disabilities attend nursery, to funding places for families living in poverty, opening much-needed nursery spaces, and training hundreds of childcare professionals each year, JCCT plays a vital role in supporting children and families across the island.
“We want to give every child in Jersey their best start in life, but as a charity, we can only do this with the generous support of others,” said Mrs Fiona Vacher, Executive Director, Jersey Child Care Trust. “We are deeply honoured that the Jersey Child Care Trust has been chosen as the beneficiary of RBC’s Race for the Kids event. We can’t wait to see everyone taking part, stepping up to their own physical challenge, and raising money to help more children in Jersey. Let’s make this the biggest RBC Race for the Kids event ever and know that we have done all we can to give children their best start in life.”
