Leadership in Transition: John Anthony Takes the Helm
2025 sees John Anthony - the founder of Podium Racing - step into the dual role of owner and interim team manager. Following the high-profile offseason departure of Tim Don to Brownlee Racing, Anthony has restructured the team’s leadership with a hands-on, full-stack approach inspired by his experience at companies like WHOOP, Google, and Oura. His goal is to evolve the team both culturally and competitively, embedding a new structure that emphasizes long-term growth and athlete empowerment.
A key part of this evolution is the introduction of Team Captain roles for stalwarts Jeanne Lehair and Kenji Nener, both of whom will guide team dynamics, contribute to strategic decisions, and mentor younger athletes throughout the season.

2025 Line-Up: Leaders, Legends & Rising Stars
Podium Racing’s 2025 roster is a compelling blend of established names and breakthrough performers across both the men’s and women’s teams.
On the women’s side, Jeanne Lehair leads a powerful lineup after finishing just two points shy of the individual League title in 2024. She is joined once again by France’s ever-reliable Léonie Périault, Brazilian swim star Vittória Lopes, and two exciting additions: Zuzana Michalickova, the 22-year-old standout from Slovakia who lit up Supertri E, and Poland’s Roksana Slupek.
The men’s squad is equally deep, with Japan’s Kenji Nener- now team captain—and former World Champion Dorian Coninx of France anchoring the group. They are joined by a trio of dynamic new recruits: New Zealand’s swim weapon Tayler Reid, American up-and-comer John Reed, and Spanish all-rounder Alberto González Garcia.
Podium Racing’s Next-Gen initiative, powered by Enve Composites, gives athletes like Reed and Michalickova the opportunity to race against the world’s best while removing financial barriers—a core part of the team’s mission to build future champions.
